Here is some information about the love songs that come with the Singing Shamrocks package when ordered from the CHIPS Quartet.

We normally try to do two songs at each stop, but we can only guarantee one, in case we're running behind schedule. We have three Irish songs to choose from:

My Wild Irish Rose

My wild irish rose, the sweetest flower that grows.
You search everywhere, and none can compare,
with my wild irish rose (irish rose).
My wild irish rose (my rose), the dearest flower that grows.
and some day for my sake, she may let me take
the bloom from my wild irish rose, my rose,
the bloom from my wild irish rose, wild irish rose.

Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May He hold you in His hand,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Danny Boy

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide.

But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.

And if you come, when all the flowers are dying
And I am dead, as dead I well may be
You'll come and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an "Ave" there for me.

And I shall hear, tho' soft you tread above me
And all my dreams will warm and sweeter be
If you'll not fail to tell me that you love me
I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.

I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.

Of course, we have plenty of non-Irish songs that you can also choose from if you'd like. You can see the rest of our repertoire in plain-text or pdf format here:
